What is the difference between the Treasure Hunt and Sightseeing & Eco Tour?

The Treasure Hunt is a game on the water where teams of 5 cruise around Vancouver's coastline in search of answers. Each team is provided with a game package with maps and questions.

The Sightseeing & Eco Tour takes place in the same area as the Treasure Hunt but it is not a competition. Teams of 5 will take to the water for a leisurely boat ride around Vancouver's coastline. Maps and information on points of interest are also provided so you and your team can choose where you would like to visit.

Do we have to book the Treasure Hunt for 9.30 am or can we go later in the day?

Most Treasure Hunts are booked in for the 9.30 am time slot as we would not have the boats available in the busier afternoon hours. However, this does usually depend on the time of year you are looking to book your Treasure Hunt. In the quieter months of April, May, June and October we may be able to accommodate at later starting time.

Do you provide private buses to pick us up and drop us off from our office location?

We can organize a charter bus to meet your transportation needs at additional cost.

Is the Treasure Hunt suitable for everybody and for all ages?

All ages can participate in the Treasure Hunt however the driver of the boat must be over 21 years of age. Guests that are pregnant or have had recent surgeries should avoid this event.

What should we bring when going on the Treasure Hunt?

Dress in layers, sometimes the weather can be cooler out on the water. Avoid high-heeled shoes. Sunscreen, sunglasses, cameras and hats are recommended.

What happens if it rains?

Sunshine is always best, but all groups have had fun regardless of the occasional wet days. Everyone seems to just be happy to be out of the office. There are no penalties for canceling your Treasure Hunt as long as 7 days notice has been given.
